I commenced my Intimo business almost 2 years ago now. For me the single most rewarding aspect of this wonderfully unique business, is the complete satisfaction you get from comments from customers in the supermarket and the street about how happy they are with their product!
I had come from a corporate background and still work part-time with my husband in our own business. It is in the medical field so very different from my Intimo business. I enjoy the presentations - they are fun to me because getting a group of women together in a relaxed state, shopping, is the ultimate ‘feel good’ experience for them and for me. I have met and made countless friends.
Another very special part of the business is the challenge of marketing activity with colleagues in the past who again... need bras! And the satisfaction of helping cut out the dreaded trip to the Lingerie Department of a Store for those time-poor colleagues who consider you ‘an angel’ when you are able to fit them, update them on styles and then provide extra product when they really have a need for it!
How many times I hear "Gosh you’ve just rung at the right time - I’m desperate..."
Ours is a wonderfully, researched and carefully thought out product. Our quality control is such that anything is withdrawn from sale if it does not meet the Intimo standard. I love that about Intimo. Good fitting, very practical and very pretty choices in lingerie and outerwear pieces making women feel totally feminine and looked after.
