Hi, my name is Maria Marando. I started my Intimo business in August 1999. After running two successful restaurants with my husband for 16 years I was ready for a change! I still wanted my own business, but not the long demanding hours of a restaurant. I wanted to work less but still enjoy the income I was accustomed to and, most importantly, I wanted to enjoy a healthy lifestyle with my family. Imagine how happy I was when I found that Intimo could give me all this, and I didn’t have to pay rent!

Starting my Intimo business was easy. Intimo provided me with a supportive, empowering environment together with unparalleled professional training resources.  The hostess benefits were generous -  all woman wear underwear and have to replace it regularly.  So with the help of Nicky Buckley as the face of Intimo and my commitment to fit women with comfortable, supportive, sexy lingerie I found it easy to book presentations. I soon had a thriving business and loyal customers and was enjoying the income I hoped for but, more importantly, I found great satisfaction in realising the power of lingerie. More than just an undergarment lingerie shapes our frame of mind just as it does our physical frame. It allows a woman to shape her mood and feel confident, beautiful and poised from the inside out.
